This tutorial, **Jumpstart for Beginners: Programming Concepts**, is intended for complete beginners who are interested in learning about computer programming.  **Jumpstart** will not teach you everything you need to land a job as a programmer, but it  **will** help you:

* practice using those concepts
* add to your knowledge step-by-step
* write real programs in  **Liberty BASIC**, a real programming language
